Rosacea is a skin condition that causes redness, visible blood vessels and sometimes bumps or swelling, typically affecting the nose, cheeks, forehead and chin. It can flare up and settle over time, and identifying your personal triggers is often part of managing it well. Spider veins are small, visible blood vessels near the surface of the skin. While they are not rosacea itself, they fall into the same broad category of visible redness and vascular concerns, and they are very common and nothing to worry about. They do not pose a health risk but can affect confidence, and the results of treatment are often immediate.
