How it works
A fine needle is used to inject a medical solution, known as a sclerosing agent, directly into the affected veins. This irritates the vein's lining, causing its walls to stick together so blood can no longer flow through it. The vein then collapses, and over 2 to 4 weeks the body naturally absorbs the residue. Over a course of treatments, unwanted leg veins disappear completely.
