Polynucleotide treatment uses DNA fragments to bio-stimulate positive changes in the skin, helping to reinvigorate its natural repair processes at a cellular level. Rather than simply repairing existing damage, it works to improve the skin's underlying health and youthfulness over time. It can be used almost anywhere on the body, including the eye area, lips, forehead, décolletage, arms and knees.
What results can I expect?
Polynucleotide treatment can help to increase cellular turnover for fresher looking skin, boost elastin production to reduce laxity, improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and support micro-circulation for added brightness. It's particularly effective under the eyes, where it can reduce the appearance of dark circles, plump gentle hollowness and improve hydration, offering a more holistic alternative to traditional volume-based fillers in this delicate area.
How many treatments will I need?
We typically recommend 3 initial treatments, spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart, followed by a top-up session roughly every 9 to 12 months to maintain results. Results build gradually, with the best outcome usually seen a month or two after treatment.
Recovery
Immediately after treatment, the skin may look a little red, bumpy and slightly swollen, which usually settles over 3 to 5 days. You may also notice some bruising, so it's best to avoid this treatment ahead of any important events. Normal activities can be resumed straight away, though we recommend keeping the area clean and avoiding strenuous exercise, swimming and sunbeds until fully healed.
