How does Tixel work?

Tixel represents the next phase of skin remodelling in fractional treatment. Fractional treatments create control damage in a grid pattern to rejuvenate skin. These grids will remodel skin to reduce pigmentation, liners and scarring. Tixel uses heat instead of light (laser), which means we can safely treat eyes right up to the lash line. Treatment is much less painful than laser and has much shorter downtime. For optimal results, 3 to 5 treatments are required.

Tixel Before and After

Whilst normal daily activities can be resumed following treatment and mineral makeup can be applied, this is an ablative treatment which means you can see that you have been treated close up. It’s quite popular to have Tixel done on a Friday or Saturday to have the weekend to recover.
